Privacy policy

Data we collect: your email (account), your quiz answers and preferences (to generate your menus), pseudonymised usage data (first-party analytics) and, if you arrive from an ad, advertising measurement data (see “Advertising” below). Payments are handled by Whop: we never store your card.
Purposes: to create and manage your account, generate your menus, manage your subscription, improve the service through usage statistics, and measure how well our ads perform.
Legal basis: performance of the contract (account and subscription) and our legitimate interest (analytics and advertising measurement).
Advertising (Meta): we run ads on Instagram and Facebook. To know which ones work, our site uses the Meta pixel and its server-side counterpart (Conversions API). We send Meta: the pages you view and the steps you complete (quiz started, account created, subscription purchased), the amount of a purchase, technical identifiers (Meta cookies, IP address, browser) and, once you have an account, your email address in hashed form, meaning turned into a string we cannot read back, used only to recognise a profile Meta already knows. We never send your quiz answers or the contents of your menus.
Meta is a joint controller for this measurement: its policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy. To object, you can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, block trackers in your browser, or email us at contact@pimzi.app.
Processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Whop (payments), Vercel (hosting), Resend (service emails), Customer.io (news and offer emails), Meta (advertising measurement). They use your data only to provide the service.
Retention: for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by writing from your account's email address: everything is erased (except legal obligations, such as accounting) and you receive a confirmation email.
