Privacy policy

• Controller: Pimzi LLC (Pimzi, pimzi.app), 412 W 7th St, Clovis, NM 88101, United States. Contact: contact@pimzi.app.
• Data we collect: your email (account), your quiz answers and preferences (to generate your menus), pseudonymised usage data (first-party analytics) and, if you arrive from an ad, advertising measurement data (see “Advertising” below). Payments are handled by Whop: we never store your card.
• Sign in with Google: if you sign in with Google, Google sends us your email address, name and profile picture. We use them to create your account and sign you in. We handle them like the rest of your data, as described on this page. We never sell them.
• Purposes: to create and manage your account, generate your menus, manage your subscription, improve the service through usage statistics, and measure how well our ads perform.
• Legal basis: performance of the contract (account and subscription) and our legitimate interest (analytics and advertising measurement), and your consent for visit recording where the law requires it.
• Advertising (Meta): we run ads on Instagram and Facebook. To know which ones work, our site uses the Meta pixel and its server-side counterpart (Conversions API). We send Meta: the pages you view and the steps you complete (quiz started, account created, subscription purchased), the amount of a purchase, technical identifiers (Meta cookies, IP address, browser) and, once you have an account, your email address in hashed form, meaning turned into a string we cannot read back, used only to recognise a profile Meta already knows. We never send your quiz answers or the contents of your menus.
• Meta is a joint controller for this measurement: its policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy. To object, you can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, block trackers in your browser, or email us at contact@pimzi.app.
• Visit recording (PostHog): to understand what gets in the way on our site, we record some visits (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, browser errors) and may replay them. What you type in form fields, your allergies and your email are masked: they are never recorded. The data is hosted in Europe (Frankfurt) by PostHog. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada, nothing is recorded without your consent, given on the banner of the home page. Elsewhere, recording may happen without a banner. You can accept or decline at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the home page.
• Creator programme: if you apply to become a creator (pimzi.fr/creators), we keep your questionnaire answers. If your profile is shortlisted, we also keep your first name, last name, email, phone number and motivation, in order to contact you about the assignment. This information is shared with the person managing our creators, in a Google Sheets file inside our workspace, and sent to Meta in hashed form to measure our recruitment ads. It is kept until you ask us to delete it, at contact@pimzi.app. If your profile is not shortlisted, we keep NO personal data: only your questionnaire answers, anonymously, for 90 days, to measure our ads.
• Processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Whop (payments), Vercel (hosting), Resend (service, news and offer emails), Google (creator applications spreadsheet), Meta (advertising measurement), PostHog (visit recording). They use your data only to provide the service.
• Retention: for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by writing from your account's email address: everything is erased (except legal obligations, such as accounting) and you receive a confirmation email.
• Your rights (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, objection. Email contact@pimzi.app.
• Trackers: first-party analytics, the Meta advertising pixel and visit recording by PostHog, described above. We never resell your data.
